Rug Design
Overview
The goal of this project was to create a collection of rugs with a special emphasis on sustainability and the environmental impacts of the designed product. The project was in collaboration with Mohawk using their swatches for color selection.
Approach
The Terra Collection is a series of high-end boutique rugs made using 100% scrap material from the creation of other rugs. Hand Knotted each rug is wholly original with a series of patterns and colorways chosen by the buyer. When you buy a rug from the Terra Collection you are bringing nature back into the home all while helping reduce the waste of rug creation.
