In Collaboration with Averi Wolf, the goal of this project was to create a socially collaborative open-concept office using a metaphor as the basis of design inspiration. Our metaphor was the phases of the moon. We each conducted research on modern and innovative office concepts to influence our final design.

Averi and I focused our design on two main points, flexibility, and collaboration. We wanted the office space to support natural movement with a series of circulation paths. In addition, all the workspaces are on casters to facilitate their movement around the office. Several spaces such as the cafeteria can convert into large conference spaces with minimal effort. Pockets of space within the office create a series of working environments, to create a dynamic and socially collaborative space.
