The Lantern is a student media organization housed in The Ohio State University's journalism department. The goal of this project was to develop a floorplan and renderings for a future move of the Lantern newsroom into a larger space. These renderings would be used to generate alumni interest in the project in order to gather funding.

I began by talking to the client and developing a list of necessities for the space. To better understand the programmatic needs of multimedia newsrooms I researched several campus and corporate newsrooms to act as case studies for the project. Using my research and the requests of the client I was able to develop a socially engaging and functional student newsroom.
